Toy Review: SH Figuarts Kamen Rider OOO Tamashii Combo

SH Figuarts Kamen Rider OOO Tamashii Combo is this year's Tamashii Festival offering. I pretty much knew that Tamashii combo will be announced in the festival and an exclusive nonetheless. But honestly, he is not one my anticipated releases just like how Kamen Rider Joker debuted last year. Tamashii Combo is one of unimagined combination from the 40th Kamen Rider Anniversary film - Let's Go Kamen Riders.

The box is just ok for my taste. Its cover has a scrapbook design going on -  torn paper, cut outs and a photo copy/carbon image of Kamen OOO. OOO is positioned for his Tamashii Bomber attack. At the back of the box is a familiar silhouette art similar to Rising Kuugas that were released about 2 years ago.

I haven't watched the movie as of this post, so I can't really pinpoint what's wrong or what's good about the figure. It is a strange combination after all since (except for Tatoba) all complete forms have a unified color scheme. The Taka head is a given. The Imagin torso is the nice touch in homage to Momotoros, so the huge thorns on the shoulders and the intricate design is unmistakeably an Imagin body. The legs are actually Condor legs from Tajador/Tajadol repainted to gold. Nothing spectacular about this as we've seen this mold before.
In all fairness, at least the huge thorny shoulder pads doesn't hinder the poseability of the arms. However in action poses, these are nuance because of how it will be angled.

Accessories are simple but limited. We obviously have the OOO Scanner and six pairs of hands. I am baffled though why he has an extra holding hand since he doesn't carry weapons. Take note that the Tamashii Bomb is a hadoken move. But since I have a collection of SHF Medaljaliburs, I had him lend one. He didn't came with a Tamashii Stage like Kamen Rider Joker, it is a bit of a shame.

In conclusion, I didn't understood myself why I did get this figure. Probably because I wanted to complete the whole OOO combos. Other than that, as a toy reviewer, I'm stumped. What I have right now is a love and hate relationship with Tamashii.
