Toy Review: S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Tajadol Combo Lost Blaze Ver.

The S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Tajadol Combo Lost Blaze version is, to be honest a repaint of the past release with slight modifications as this represents a fusion with Ankh. For example is the gold paint on head, the Ankh arm on his right, and additional color on the front and back of the figure, finally the wings on the ankles that is full on red.

The set includes its own S.I.C. stand, 7 hands, 3 Cell Medals, 6 Putotyra Core Medals and 2 versions of Ankh’s broken medal. Each medal can be fitted inside the TaJa Spinner. These won't fall off as long as the lid is closed. There are also extra Tajadol translucent chest pieces primarily for the combo changes. Some gimmicks remain the same like the OOO Driver where the cover can be removed, same goes with the OOO Scanner and finally the Medal holder, still inverted that is different from the S.H. Figuarts.

Biggest improvements are the wings that are wider and more majestic than the first release. These are plugged on an attachment, and then the entire pack replaces the disc accent inserted by removing the disc at the back of the figure. Each wing has its own joint that can swivel in many directions. You can check the instructions on how to place each accordingly. The wing attachment as a whole is a very heavy piece; that is why Bandai also included a stage that clips on the backpack for added support. The set is not complete without the condor legs with movable talons and replaces the default legs on the figure.

I was almost unconvinced that this variant is an easy skip because of the expensive price tag and seemingly a repaint. But I was wrong. There are slight adjustments from the first release but it makes a huge difference, making this a better version. With the addition of Ankh’s hand will make you forget how small the arms actually are. Sadly, there are no improvements on the articulation. This is now my favorite Kamen Rider OOO figure, in S.I.C. More to this from the video review below.
