Announced in the 30th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is another Dragon Ball Z team melee fighting game coming to the PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 consoles. This is Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. The game will allow up to 4 players to play together as a team or go head to head with other 4 players for a 8 player death battle.
This means the game will have online multiplayer support and can build team attacks such as "Synchro Rush" or boosting each other's health via "Revive Soul." With this, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump also announced that it will feature Super Saiyan God, Goku's form that was introduced in the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. As of this post, confirmed characters included in this game are: Goku (Base, Super Saiyan God), Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo and Saibaman.
